How to add it to your site

  1. Copy the code.
  2. Paste it into the head of your home page. On WordPress, a header code plugin or your theme's settings can do this. On Wix, Squarespace and similar builders, look for custom code in the site settings.
  3. Make the name, address and phone match your Google Business Profile exactly.
  4. Test the page with Google's Rich Results Test.

Google requires name and address and recommends phone, website, hours and more (Google's LocalBusiness documentation, checked October 15, 2026). Google also says no special markup is needed for its AI features, so this removes doubt about your details rather than switching anything on. The main guide covers the rest.
